  5. I've rearranged my work schedule for Friday so I can keep a prayer vigil for your family during the visitation and service. I know others like me who live far from Texas and are unable to attend will be lifting your family up prayer especially during those times.

  6. Many people from Ohio have followed your journey and have lifted many prayers for you during these difficult days.

I pray that you will feel God's arms around you as you make adjustments in the coming days.

The family of God reaches far and wide...and you have impacted many. May God give you ways to continue to encourage others by your example.

  7. Emma Elizabeth is dancing for Jesus, as Father gently rocks Mommy, Daddy, Carleigh, Luke and Cora in His arms.
Holy Spirit envelopes you in comfort and peace as only He can do. May you feel His incredible love, compassion, strength and courage today and always.

  8. You don't know me but I came upon your site through a friend.

Just yesterday our family buried little baby Sam, my 10-week nephew.

There are no words because we just don't understand. But God does have a plan for these little children and had a purpose in their lives. Through Sam's death our family has learned of at least 2 people who have come to know the Lord Jesus as their personal saviour!

I will be praying for your family during this difficult time. I pray that as only God can do - that He will give you peace that passes all understanding.

  11. Been praying and crying for you. Want to encourage you with this:

    "We're depending on God,
    he's everything we need.
What's more, our hearts brim with joy
since we've taken for our own his holy name.
Love us, God, with all you've got-
    that's what we're depending on."

    Psalm 33:20-22

  13. When I first found out I would be taking care of Emma at Wee School I was so nervous. I wasn't sure how to care for a child with unusual needs. But, the minute I first held her I was in love and it was all so easy after that. She made the whole school fall in love with her. Thank you for sharing her with me for a short time. :)

  16. A Million Times

A million times we've needed you,
    A million times we've cried.
If love alone could've saved you,
    You never would have died.

In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a place,
No one else will ever fill.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
    But you didn't go alone.
Part of us went with you,
The day God took you home.

  17. Emma's Celebration of Life service today was amazingly beautiful. So many people were there to love you and thank you for sharing Emma's journey with us. Many more were there in spirit. Tommy gave a wonderful message of hope. Kelvin, your words of inspiration were deeply moving. Christy, the music was perfect. Outside, the clouds broke open and let the glorious sunshine stream down upon us. It was like a brilliant smile from Heaaven and Emma. We were reminded again of the awesome God we serve.

  18. Kelvin & Christy,

I just recently became aware of the story of Emma. After reading Emmas's web page, I admire the strength that you and Christy have shown through the whole journey. I'm very sorry for the sadness that you guys are feeling, I can't even begin to imagine what yhou guys are going through. At the same time what a celebration to know that Emma is spending eternity with her father above.
Please know that Kirk and I are praying for strength and renewal for your family.
