I miss blogging and blog hopping. Things are going well with the planning for Emma's Bayou Bash. I think I'm starting to get tired. In the middle of the night last night, I found myself in the bathroom staring at the counter wondering where my medicine was. I don't take any, so it wasn't there. I crawled back into bed very confused and asked Kelvin if I was taking medication. I don't think he appreciated being awakened from his slumber. After he didn't know what I was talking about, I said nevermind and went back to sleep, shaking my head in complete frustration at the whole thing. I continue to pray the 3rd annual Emma's Bayou Bash is successful and God-honoring. Because really, I can bust my backside and all of the other wonderful volunteers we have can do the same, but if this whole thing isn't bringing honor and glory to Him, why bother? I covet your prayers as we tie up loose ends the next week and a half. Thank you.
So, what are you up to this weekend? Me? Oh, just my 20 year reunion!! What in the world?!? I am completely amazed that I am in this time of my life. Time has flown by...especially the past two years. I wish sometimes I could roll back the time just a little bit so I could savor the moments a little while longer. I'm looking forward to seeing friends from days gone by. It should be a great weekend. I hope to remember my camera and take some photos of good friends. Hopefully I'll remember to post them before the next reunion!
